Default Kao Piek hai kon bor sabai :-)

Kao piek hai kon bor sabai

Boil in a pot of water two lean chicken breast
Add salt and two slice of ginger
Add two hand full of regular rice and one hand full of sticky rice grain (washed it first)
Bring to a boil until rice is cooked.

Serve with roasted garlic, green onion leaf, cilantros and ground white peppers.
Could add bean sprout, a small wedge of lime and some chili to kick it up!

yeah you add sticky rice too? I didn't know that.

I only used sticky rice when I don't have white rice... and never add them two together before.

It makes it thicker and fuller to the stomach. I like the texture.

LOL, OK I'll try it. Are you coming over for dinner Teh?

I thought Viet tum mak houng is sliced green papaya at the bottom then top it off with meat, peanut, and some kind of sauce... no?

Viet's mac houng salad is a little different from ours. No padaek but have fish sauce, sugar, chili, peanut, vinegar, some herb like that pak that we eat with the boil duck embro eggs (don't remember the name). It's kind of like our yum.
