I was actually impressed with their opening ceremony. It's simple, but they did better than expected.

I think is funny that they added the dialogue(message) for this part from 4:15 to 5:10, but didn't translate it as with everything else. (Must be some kind of message to get Lao's blood broiled and for Lao to have some pride in being khon Lao )http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kdr6CnfRMpo

I watched a little bit of it on YouTube and visit Laovoices.com for updates. The women rattan ball, Lao VS Thailand was really intesting. I love to watch that game when I was little. And the women beach volley ball Vietnam VS Lao was good to watch too.

I think the opening and closing ceremonies are very impressive. For Laos to be able to do that my hat goes off the them. They did a fantastic job.
